Cooro from the manga +Anima featured in Shonen Jump Weekly in Japan at the moment. My very first costume worn at a convention. Worn at Katsucon 2002. A friend sent me the link to the translated manga. I immediately fell in love with the character designs. The manga is extremely cute too. I'm a sucker for that sort of thing. The manga, as well as many other great mangas, can be found translated and scanned here: Toriyma's World Most everything was store bought then heavily altered and/or dyed. I loved making the hat part the most. This is some people's favorite of my costumes still @__@
